On The Mark Press was founded by Ruth Solski. Ruth was a primary school teacher who had written her own lessons and curriculum for years. In 1986 she started S&S Learning Materials. S&S became an industry leader with it's variety of titles written to the Canadian curriculum. These products are rooted in Canadian history and culture.
